Oliver had high expectations for this season and it is safe to say that he hit them. He knew that it was his last ride playing football, and he also knew what standard he himself and others held him up to. Oliver said, “Football is something that is taken very seriously around here, and I know that we could be something special if we all work for it. The expectations for the class of 2025 have always been high, so I held myself to a higher standard.”

Oliver helped his team go on to make a deep playoff run ending in an appearance in the state title game. “Playing at Camp Randall is every Wisconsin boy's dream, so for us, being able to go there is so special, especially for a school this small.”

Oliver is now In the middle of the basketball season. Oliver is a part of the starting five for Potosi basketball. Oliver plays a big role on the team, averaging 9.8 points per game, 4.2 rebounds per game, and 2.6 assists per game. Oliver's towering height, at 6’5”, gives him an advantage on the court. Basketball is something Oliver has also played all of his life. The Potosi basketball team stands at 9-2 at the time of writing and has a good season ahead of them.

Oliver will be competing in his senior season of track this spring. This is also a sport Oliver dominates. Last season he broke the school record in the high jump. He then proceeded to break his own record in the same event. Oliver has a promising season ahead of him, as he has only gotten better from last year.
