Potosi Track & Field - Saputo Legacy Program
We are proud to announce our recent partnership with Saputo. Through the Legacy Program, Saputo donated $10,000 for the improvement of the Potosi High School Track and Field program.
This generous donation will be used for the athletic performance facility, which includes the construction of a straightaway track, long jump runway and sand pit in addition to a new high jump landing system. Along with Superintendent Ron Saari, Principal Mike Uppena, and Athletic Director Mark Siegert, the Potosi Track and Field program is very grateful for this donation. We will celebrate the completion of this project later this year with a community wide event – be on the lookout for more details!
Blake Cooley, Potosi High School sophomore, has earned a trip to Washington DC and College Park, Maryland to represent our school and state at the national competition of National History Day, on June 11-15, 2017. "Taking a Stand in History" is the 2017 theme and this is the culmination of months and hours of research on the Chicano student movement of the late 1960s in Los Angeles, California. Congratulations and good luck to Blake!
